The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after a 16-year-old was seriously injured in a crash at Bundaberg South Friday afternoon, February 9.
Initial investigations indicate around 2.30pm, a Kawasaki KXF motorcycle was travelling east along Burnett Street when it stuck the side of a Mitsubishi Triton utility near Hunter Street.
The rider, a 16-year-old Avoca boy, received life-threatening injuries and was transported to Bundaberg Hospital for treatment.

The driver, a 63-year-old Bullyard man, was not physically injured.
Witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam vision is urged to contact police.
