A statewide initiative is giving visitors one more reason to choose the Bundaberg Region and the Southern Great Barrier Reef.
The Regional Rewards campaign provides discounts on eligible tours and attractions and is urging Queenlanders to book regional winter experiences.
It includes our local Hinkler Hall of Aviation, as well as our reef, wildlife and food tourism.
Mayor Helen Blackburn says the initiative will deliver meaningful benefits for the region’s visitor economy.
“Regional Rewards is a welcome boost for Bundaberg’s tourism industry, backing the operators who deliver the experiences our region is known for.
“Every discounted booking helps support local jobs, local businesses and the vibrant visitor economy that keeps Bundaberg moving forward.”
Mayor Blackburn says the campaign also highlights the strength and diversity of local tourism offerings.
“Bundaberg offers some of Queensland’s most memorable experiences – from the heritage-rich Hinkler Hall of Aviation to our reef, wildlife and food tourism.
“This initiative gives visitors one more reason to choose our region and discover what makes the Bundaberg Region and the Southern Great Barrier Reef such a special place to explore.”
