Man dies after car crashes into a tree on the Bruce Highway

Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal crash in Takilberan, west of Bundaberg, on Monday April 22nd.

Initial information indicates just before 3pm, a 41-year-old Koongal man was travelling north on the Bruce Highway, about 27 kilometres north of Gin Gin, when the Holden Commodore he was driving crashed into a tree.

The man and only person in the car, died at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash, and are asking anyone who may have information or dash cam vision, to contact police.

Investigations are ongoing.
