More than 100 people charged in Bundaberg Police Operation

Local police have been cracking down on crime in the Bundaberg region, as part of Operation Victor Clear.

It’s been running since August 2023, involving officers from the Bundaberg Police Beat, in the Central Business District.

The aim of the operation is to target high visibility disruption and prevention offences.

During the seven months of undertaking the operation, officers have charged a total of 109 offenders with 375 charges to date.

Some of the offences include assaults, fraud, shop stealing, trespassing, driving without a licence, possessing dangerous drugs and break and enter offences.
